Playground print for "Old School" exhibition

This new A3 edition of my Playground print is an exclusive to Smug on Camden Passage, Islington. Their print shop/exhibition on the theme "Old School" opened this weekend and will be running into the new year. The shop's been really nicely put together with the theme running much further than just the selection of great prints. See more here: Smug news.

Fieldway Estate Maps

Working for Croydon Council and Assemble I designed a set of 'you are here' maps for the Fieldway Estate. There are 9 maps across the estate, each one giving an overview of the whole estate, as well as a detailled view of the closer surroundings. The maps' colours reference the signage system on the estate and the bold white text allows the map to be viewed when the light is poor.

New Addington Central Parade

The super-clever architects collective Assemble asked me to come up with a brand for the series of events they arranged as part of their improvements to Central Parade in New Addington, Croydon. I designed the set of posters, leaflets and banners with the typography referencing small magazine adverts from events that have taken place in the square over the years.

Cylinders Letterpressed in Red

The up and coming boutique in Islington, Smug, is opening a pop up shop selling prints on the first floor. Opening on Saturday 29th October until next January, as well as having my usual prints, they'll be including my brand new Peaks print and, this is the best bit: a Cylinder print in red, made exclusively for Smug. So you can't get it anywhere else, not even from me!

Obviously there'll be masses of other artist's prints to rifle through too – the first place to start shopping for that date at the end of December.

Sir Peter Cook 75th Birthday

Great news! As an "international artist" I'm included in an exhibition put on to celebrate architect Sir Peter Cook's 75th Birthday. The exhibition opens on Wednesday 26th October 2011 in Space, 10 James St, in Brisbane, Australia. The prints are slowly being revealed online and going up for auction, so check back to this site as it updates and get bidding: www.theadamandeveprojects.com/75peters

I designed this print for my brother's birthday. He has the first one, but I'm sure there'll be more!

New print for Concrete Hermit launched at Pick Me Up

I'm pleased to announce that I'm now on Concrete Hermit's new website, Hermit Editions, and they're selling 360 Degrees of Cake and Cylinders. But even better, is that they've got me to do a brand new print for them. They're currently in the process of printing and producing a limited edition of 100 boxes, each containing five prints by a nice group of young illustrators: Evgenia Barninova, Matt Bromley aka NGUsucker, Thomas Boswell, Craig Scott and me!

The box will be launched at Pick Me Up, the contemporary art fair at Somerset House, 17-27 March. Pick Me Up should be good, last year had lots of exciting new work, particularly on the print side of things. This is what my print looks like:

Big thanks go out to Wicksteed Leisure (the playground manufacturer) for sending me scans from their 80's catalogue. No spongy floor in sight!
